About us

A country house
made for getting together.

Our story

Running a bistro, and everything that happens around it.

L’Augustin was born from a simple belief: in the French countryside, a café-restaurant is much more than a table. It is where paths cross, news travels and people take the time to talk.

Set on the Voie Sacrée, the bistro brings together French cooking, good company and remembrance. Its name honours Augustin Trébuchon, the last French soldier killed in action in the First World War. Here, that tribute stays warm and bright: an invitation to share fellowship over a meal, a drink or a game of cards.

A place open to locals, travellers, families and everyone passing through the Meuse.
